1. Shalimar Bagh -Kashmir

The Shalimar Bagh is well known for chini khanas, or arched niches, behind garden waterfalls. They are a unique feature in the Bagh. These niches were lighted at night with oil lamps, which gave a fairy tale appearance to the waterfalls. However, now the niches hold pots of flower pots that reflect their colors behind the cascading water.
2.Tulip Garden -Srinagar
Tulip Garden or the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is the largest tulip garden in Asia, situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Hills and offers a great overview of picturesque world famous Dal Lake.
3. Lal Bagh -Bangalore
A geological monument for the peninsular gneiss formation is also a tourist attraction at the gardens. This monument has been designated by the Geological Survey of India on the Lal bagh hill which is made up of 3,000 million-year-old peninsular gneissic rocks. One of the four cardinal towers erected by Kempegowda II, also a major tourist attraction, is seen above this hillock. This tower gives the full view of Bangalore from the top.

4. Rock Garden -Darjeeling
Rock Garden of Darjeeling is also known as Barbotey Rock Garden is one of the major tourist attraction of the city along with tea gardens and another rock garden known as Sir John Anderson Rock Garden.
The garden is about 10 kilometers (6.2 mi) from Darjeeling. While proceeding from the town along Hill Cart Road, one has to turn right, well before reaching Ghum. The road descends rapidly into the valley. With sharp bends all the way, there are scenic views at many points. Tea gardens dot the hill slopes.
Constructed by the Gorkha Hill Council Tourism Department, it was inaugurated by Subhash Ghising, the GNLF supremo.The Rock Garden is not one in the conventional sense.
5. Lodi Gardens -Delhi
Lodhi Gardens is an important place of preservation of Indian culture and natural place. The tomb of Mohammed Shah is visible from the road and is the earliest structure in the gardens. The architecture is characterized by the octagonal chamber, with stone chhajjas on the roof and gulas tas on the corners.

7. Mehtab Bagh Agra
Originally built by Emperor Babur as the last in a series of 11 parks bordering the Yamuna’s east bank, this Mughal garden was conceived before even the Taj Mahal. Although it fell into disrepair owing to a flood in 1652 AD, it was reconstructed and restored to its former glory in 1996 and is now one the best spots to take in stunning views of the Taj Mahal. The gardens surrounding the Taj Mahal are perfectly aligned with Mehtab Bagh, and a large octagonal pool at the heart of the garden offers a perfect reflection of the Taj in the moonlight. Translating to mean ‘Moonlight Garden’, this is where Mehtab Bagh gets its name from.
